PRACTICE IN THE PARK/CHURCH
By the end of the summer holidays Ann's Mum did have to admit that Lightly Row was actually sounding quite good. After the holidays Ann came home with the music for Away In A Manger and had been told if it was good enough for December then the violins and recorders would be accompanying the school choir for the Annual Christmas Carol Concert along with the teacher on the piano. Anns Mum and Dad sat on the front row of the audience at the Christmas Carol Concert looking dead chuffed.

Anns Dad was very proud of Anns playing and his joke was that she was always on the fiddle. Always practising was what he really meant but if someone didnt know Ann played the violin it could easily be taken the wrong way.
